Elisabeth and Roger
I have two words for this wedding: Adirondack Perfection.
I have had the pleasure of knowing the bride Elisabeth since we were tiny tots in grade school. She's the funniest woman I know, and equally gifted as a photographer, teacher, and historic scholar. I was so thrilled to hear of her engagement to her fiance Roger, who I was able to meet over the past Christmas holiday. It took all of two seconds to see they were very much in love, and perfectly suited.
Many a summer in our youth was spent up in the Adirondack region of New York State. Although the couple now reside in Anchorage, Alaska, Elisabeth and Roger chose to tie the knot in the picturesque town of Old Forge, not far from her family's camp. The ceremony and reception were held at the McCauley Mountain Ski Center. The couple said their vows on a beautiful hillside, after which we all took a ride up the ski lift to grab some shots on the mountaintop! Afterward, there was no shortage of delicious food, beautiful toasts, and dancing in the ski chalet.
The couple wrapped up their evening with an amazing sparkler send-off and it concluded an absolutely perfect wedding day. Congratulations to my friend and her perfect love story.
