Emily and Erica

Emily and Erica got married on May 18, in a small, intimate ceremony at the Sactuary at Haafsville in Fogelsville, PA. I couldn't have pictured a more perfect union to kick off this year's wedding season. This ceremony was small but it had everything: dogs, brides, live music, and the most lush greenery spring has to offer.

Emily walked down the aisle on her mother's arm, and met Erica at a beautiful spot overlooking a stream behind the animal sanctuary that means so much to them. Close friends on keyboard and guitar provided the ambiance, and a handful of close family and friends gathered to hear the happy women exchange handwritten vows and simple golden rings. The brides' sisters offered words of advice and love, and Emily's niece proved to be an excellent master of ceremonies. Throughout the ceremony, extra adorableness was provided by the couple's (and friend's) fabulously outfitted puppers, who expressed their utmost approval of the whole thing.

After the big kiss and even bigger smiles, the group gathered in front of the sanctuary to plant a fresh new tree on the grounds. Just like the marriage, it started it's journey standing strong and well-established with loved ones gathered around.

We wrapped up the day (literally: there were capelets!) traipsing down Main Street in downtown Bethlehem, hitting up the spots where the couple's love first blossomed. There was a romantic tryst in an alley, laughter on a bridge, and so many tender, funny, and loving moments in between.

As always I wish the best for some truly beautiful and fun women, and I hope for so many years of the kind of happiness I witnessed that day!
